Spark Innovations Corp, doing business as OneSparked Publishing ("RadioNovel," "we," "us," or "our"), operates the RadioNovel platform (the "Service"), which turns uploaded manuscripts into AI-produced radio-drama audio. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights available to you.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information when you use the Service:

  • Account information: your display name, email address, and password. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard techniques (ASP.NET Core Identity) and are never stored or accessible in plain text.
  • Manuscript and production content: the manuscript text and chapters you upload, character names and dialogue segments detected by our AI tools, your voice-casting selections, and any custom delivery or emotion tags you add to your text.
  • Payment information: we do not collect or store your full payment card number. Card details are entered directly into a secure, tokenized form provided by our payment processor, Authorize.Net, using their Accept.js technology. We retain only the resulting transaction ID, authorization code, and approval status.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including generating your radio-drama productions;
  • Process payments and maintain billing records;
  • Communicate with you about your account, orders, and updates to the Service;
  • Maintain an anonymous draft of your project before you create an account, so you can receive a price estimate without signing up;
  • Remember your visual theme preference;
  • Improve, secure, and troubleshoot the Service.

3. Who We Share Your Information With

We share information with the following categories of service providers, solely to operate the Service on your behalf:

  • OpenAI: your manuscript text is sent to OpenAI's API so our AI tools can detect speaking characters and segment dialogue. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
  • ElevenLabs: dialogue text and voice descriptions are sent to ElevenLabs to generate text-to-speech narration, sound effects, and AI-designed voices. See ElevenLabs' Privacy Policy.
  • Authorize.Net: handles payment card data directly, as described above.
  • Bunny.net: our content delivery/storage provider, which stores the finished audio files produced for your account.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

4. Cookies

The Service uses a small number of cookies, all necessary to its operation:

  • An anonymous draft-project cookie, which lets you upload a manuscript and receive a price estimate before creating an account;
  • An authentication cookie, which keeps you signed in;
  • A theme-preference cookie, which remembers your chosen visual theme.

We do not currently use any third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account, manuscript, and production data for as long as your account remains active. If you would like to close your account, delete your data, or request an export of your data, please contact us using the information in Section 9, and we will respond to your request within a reasonable time.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of non-essential communications from us. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information below.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where a higher age threshold applies), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
