Over the past few weeks, we've been building something new: Video Productions — a way to transform any finished audio drama into a fully illustrated video without rewriting a single word of your story. It's still very much a work in progress, but it's live, and we wanted to show you where things stand.

From Audio to Video in a Few Clicks

Every completed audio production now includes a Convert to Video button. Click it, and we'll build a video around the exact same narration, voice performances, sound effects, music, and mix you've already created—no re-recording, no re-casting, and nothing lost from the production you've already made.

Casting Your Characters, Visually This Time

Before your video renders, you'll assign a visual appearance to each character using the new Headshots tab. Upload your own reference image, describe a character and let AI generate one, or reuse artwork you've already created in another production.

You'll also choose a single Image Style for the entire production—Photorealistic, Comic Book, Anime, Film Noir, and many more—ensuring every scene shares a consistent visual identity from beginning to end.

Transitions... Including One Just for Fun

Scenes need to flow naturally, so we've included several transition styles, including classic Fade, Slide, and Wipe effects.

And because we couldn't resist, we also added Comic Wipe. Instead of repeating the same transition every time, it randomly chooses different panel wipes and directions, giving your video the feeling of turning the pages of a comic book.

Fixing a Scene Without Starting Over

Once your video is complete, the Post Editor lets you regenerate the artwork for any individual scene without affecting the rest of the production.

You can also rebuild the finished video as many times as you'd like—including switching to a different transition style—at no additional cost. Rebuilding is always free. Only newly generated scene artwork uses a generation credit.

Where We're Headed

This feature is still evolving. We're continually improving image quality, expanding the available art styles, and listening closely to feedback from our early users.

If you already have a finished audio drama waiting in your library, we'd love for you to be among the first to bring it to life as a video—and let us know what you'd like to see next.
